Our School Tour to Craggaunown, Co. Clare

Today we visited a very interesting site at Craggaunowen.  Here they have recreated aspects of Ireland's past. We saw The Castle, Crannogs, The Fullact Fiadh (ancient cooking site), An undersground Souterrain and a replica boat used by St. Brendan the Navigator. We also saw some amazing boar during the woodlands walk!

We had sunshine all morning so it was perfect for being outdoors. Afterwards we enjoyed our lunch on the picnic benches.
