Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have been visited by Gus & Eddie from Monivea Boxing Club. We sparred with them in the yard and then had our own training session in the centre.
The World Record Holder Gerry Cronnolly also popped in, to see how we got on. He recently boxed 123 rounds in a row to raise money for Cancer Care & Monivea Boxing Club.
Well done Gerry! We were all rooting for you here in Newcastle National School.
