I think this has been the most popular science experiment so far this year! We have been learning all about air and air pressure over the last few weeks.
We decided to find out whether balloons filled with air would hold the weight of some pupils AND teachers, in our class. Some boys and girls predicted that they would pop or burst with all the pressure, so they were really surprised to see that the balloons shared the weight between them.
WE WALKED ON AIR...AWESOME!
