Feeding time in our school garden...not just for animals!
Hopefully by now, you have all had a chance to sample our delicious eggs from our non human friends who live in our school garden! Third and fourth class are currently responsible for looking after the hens and we really enjoy feeding and caring for them every day...the best part is trying to get them into their coop for the night.
(Bribery in the form of seeds is often needed!)
Here, our Spanish amigas are put to work collecting after a busy weekend of egg laying.
It's not just the hens that get peckish. We love using our outdoor classroom for lessons outside. Here we are, one Friday afternoon enjoying our novel and some tasty cáca milis. School's not so bad sometimes!
