What an awesome day we've just had! The sun came out, our hats looked absolutely amazing and lots of mammies, daddies, brothers, sisters, nannies and grandads all turned up to admire us, in our imaginative creations. They even got into the spirit of the day and wore their own crazy constructions!
Each and every boy and girl should be super proud. Their hats were individual, creative, expressive with each child's personality shining through, in their hat. They were beaming with pride, and so they should be, as all of their hard work really did pay off today.
Yet again, the parents and friends of Newcastle N.S. never cease to amaze with their generosity, thoughtfulness and astounding baking skills. You all outdid yourselves today and we sincerely thank you for your kindness, AND for joining us today, for our tea party. It made it all the more special having you here with us, even though you must have been wrecked, as some of you were up baking at 6am this morning!!
