Last week we learned about David Bowie. He was a very interesting man and it was sad that he died at the age of 69, but he did so many cool things in his life. He was a real funky dresser and wrote some interesting, catchy songs.
We listened to his song Space Oddity and discussed the lyrics.We learned about life in space from an astronaut called Chris Hadfield, by watching some of his videos.We saw lovely pictures of earth from space.
Then we drew pictures of what we thought of, when we listened to the lyrics of Space Oddity.This week we painted rocks as if they were alien rock stars as a tribute to David Bowie.Then we put them in a painted cardboard box making them look like they were in a concert.
