Today for our science lesson, we had so much fun!
Ms Giblin asked us whether or not we thought air took up space, and most of us thought that it didn't! Boy, did we have a laugh figuring that question out.
We lay 8 balloons on the floor and rested a table on top.
Then Ms Giblin asked Ciarán to WALK ON TOP OF THE TABLE!!!!!!
We were all so excited as we waited to see whether or not the balloons would burst underneath the table...BUT THEY DIDN'T!
Their shape changed as each of us walked on top of the table. They all shared our weight!
Air definitely takes up space. We won't ever forget that!
