Italian Day

What a fantastic Italian Day we had last week!

3rd & 4th class have been studying all things Italian for the last while; The Romans, Mt. Vesuvius & Pompeii, Italian cities and landmarks, Italian artists & composers and we even designed and made our own mosaic art pieces which look really cool in our class.

We decided to celebrate this fascinating country by holding our own special day and it's safe to say, it was a major hit!

HUGE thank you to all the lovely mammies, daddies, grannies & grandads for preparing a mountain of mouth watering food that was fed to the whole school. As always, your generosity was just amazing.
Grazie Mille.

The children hosted like true professionals and they should be very proud of their hard work. I think we'll be seeing green, white & red and humming
Nessun Dorma for months to come! :)

Thank you to all the teachers and pupils for visiting & a big 'Grazie mille' also to Karen, Gráinne, Mrs Wall & Mrs Magnier for helping us in the kitchen.

Until next time, arrivederci e grazie!
