The Green Schools Committee talked to us about all the rubbish in the water. They told that people should never throw your waste in the water because the animals in the water are eating the plastic and when the animals eat it they swallow or choke on it. When they swallow it and it is caught by us we eat the plastic. Also, when people are at the beach they leave all their rubbish behind and when the shore rises, it collects the rubbish and goes in the water and the same thing happens again. They showed us when birds go in the water to get their food that they get covered in water they spread their wings apart and it drys but when they get covered in oil it can't dry and that means they can't fly because it sticks to them.
