4th Class Week 3: January 25th – January 29th
Here is the plan of work for Week 3 (starting next Monday).
Please label all of your work clearly when completing an activity in your copies – name of activity/ page number/ date.
Blue highlight = there will be a video on Seesaw to watch before you begin your work.
Yellow highlight tells you the work you need to upload to Seesaw and on which day.
Fun Friday Ideas:
Watch the video on Seesaw.
Follow these directions to create your own ‘Bird Feeder’.
Use the Bird Watching Poster that is on Seesaw to identify any birds you don’t recognise.
1. Find an empty toilet roll or kitchen roll.
2. Spread peanut butter all over the outside of the toilet roll, covering it completely in peanut butter (you can use coconut oil either, if there are any nut allergies in your house).
3. Place some bird seeds or porridge oats onto a plate.
4. Roll the toilet roll around the plate so the bird seeds or oats stick to the peanut butter.
5. Loop a string through the toilet roll and tie it.
6. Hang your new bird feeder on a branch of a tree in your garden and keep a close eye for any birds that come for a snack! (Use the bird-watching guide that is on Seesaw to identify any birds you don’t know).
